Start - Worked Example
Step 1 :
Open Microsoft Access. Create a blank database - call it names.mdb
Step 2 :
Click on New Table and choose Design View. Design the table as shown below. Name this table names also.
Step 3 :
The data entry may be made easier by using a form. Click on New Form and choose Form Wizard and base this on the table 'names'. Select all of the fields for the form. The remaining options are then simply personal preference.
Step 4 :
Use this form to enter the data. Once a suitable amount of data has been entered the Table should look something like the image below :
Step 5 :
The simple database is now complete. A record of the address path should be made - An example of this is C:\myFiles\access\names.mdb
