• Each company gives you over 12MB of web space (this is more than enough for most purposes).
• You may join a web community and share your site with people of different interests.

Why shouldn't I host my site at one of these locations?

• All of these companies require you to advertise their site with an automatic pop-up banner. Click here to see what this is.
• Your domain name includes their company name (i.e. http://members.tripod.co.uk/mywebsite - ideally you would want http://www.mywebsite.co.uk - it looks more professional)
• If you include large downloads on the site you will quickly use up the available band width. Therefore if you want to make MP3's or WAV files available to visitors to your site maybe you should choose a different option.
